This property is few miles away from Dollywood park.  One of the premier tourist destinations in the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood theme park offers endless family fun during any time of year. With over 30 rollercoasters, rides and attractions plus live concerts and shows, it’s hard to run out of things to do at Dollywood! Here are 10 of my top favorites:

• Ride the Lightning Rod – Named the world’s first launch coaster, this ride shoots you from 0 to 40 mph in under two seconds. Not for the faint of heart but the adrenaline rush is unbeatable!
• See live performances at the Back Porch Theater – Enjoy bluegrass music, dancing and comedic skits each day. It’s the perfect way to experience traditional Appalachian culture.
• Experience Wildwood Grove – This new land lets guests walk through an enchanted forest. Don’t miss the raft rides and kid-sized trails.
• Explore the Craftsman Valley – Watch artisans demonstrate woodcarving, pottery, sorghum pressing and more old-time Appalachian trades.
• Ride the Daredevil Falls – Brave a 50-foot drop on this raft ride through twisty whitewater rapids. Get ready to get wet!
• Watch celebrations of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas – Voted one of the top 10 Christmas lights displays. It’s simply magical!
• Eat homemade dishes at Timber Restaurant – Savor delicious Southern specialties like fried catfish, fried chicken and pecan pie.
• Shop for crafts at Arts & Crafts Community – Browse unique gifts from pottery to candles handcrafted by local artists.
• Ride a rollercoaster at Wildwood Grove – Both the Mystery Mine and FireChaser Express are fantastic rides for thrill seekers of any age.
• See a show at the Showstreet Palace Theater – Superstar performances featuring everything from country to gospel. Always top-notch!
